What to Expect

New Patients

Becoming a patient at Itono is a 2-appointment process.

1st appt – Evaluation

After filling out all the necessary online intake forms, the first appointment at the office will start with:

• Vitals taken by the Chiropractic Assistant
• Dr. Rose will go over your medical history and goals for your treatment and then start orthopedic and neuro exams
• If no red flags are present, the first treatment will be given. This typically consists of soft tissue mobilization and a physiotherapy modality.

Please come in comfortable clothing that allows full range of motion and minimal to no jewelry.

2nd appt – Report of Findings

Dr. Rose will put together a report of your evaluation findings and create a home wellness plan to follow during this initial treatment period. The second appointment will start with:

• The Report of Findings: We go over the results and treatment plan. If needed, we can make any changes that you would like to make.
• After going over the treatment plan, you then decide if you’d like to start the plan or not.
• If you decide to continue, congratulations! You are an established patient and we start your first chiropractic treatment. The initial phase will typically last for 6 months and a reevaluation is done at the end of the treatment period to determine how to continue.
